About

The European Union & International Organisations Relations (SR-SE-EUI) section is the bridge between CERN, the EU, and other international partners. It is responsible for supporting and managing projects funded by external partners, as well as contributing to the multilateral discussions shaping the global science policy agenda.

It consists of four teams:

The EU Projects Office

Two teams make up the EU Projects Office, which leads CERN’s institutional engagement with the European Union and coordinates EU-funded projects and other external grants across the Organization. Find out more here.

International Organisations Relations

The team develops and coordinates structured engagement with international organisations to enhance CERN’s visibility, impact, and influence. Find out more here.

Development of EU Projects & Initiatives

This team leads specific, large-scale, CERN-led projects, such as Attract.
